Workshop 1: Cultural History
This workshop task was to analyse and interpret the site contents and genus loci, and express them through a photo montage.

Workshop 2: Landscape in Architecture
Students were asked to analyse and note the site contents including landscape, hardscape and contexts

Workshop 3: Personal Interpretation Sketches
This workshop was to analyse the genus loci through sketches instead of photo montage, to capture a more personal style and touch.

Workshop 4: Site Analysis
This workshop was to perform a full, thorough, site analysis of the Sungai Buloh Valley of Hope to aid us in design for the final project 2. Students had a few basic requirements but were allowed to add additional points such as site history as they saw fit.
Workshop 5: Structure as Architecture
This structural workshop is meant to teach students the importance of structural design and construction, being integrated with a design, instead of it just being as an afterthought.

Workshop 6: Environment as Architecture
This workshop teaches students the importance of site response in terms of environment and thermal comfort.
