Site Analysis
>Project Introduction
This task involved the site analysis of the Kuala Selangor Nature Park. Information such as weather patterns, circulation and views would be noted to be later composed onto 6 A3 boards in diagrammatic manner. Site use proposals would also be included as a result of our findings. For this task, a site visit was carried out over 2 days, allowing us to fully experience and observe the area.
>Boards
Our group split the main site into 5 sections, with analytical diagrams for each site, allowing us to research into further detail. Each board includes 4 site contents analysed and each has its section dedicated to site response vignettes, with a brief annotation at the bottom providing further explanation.
>Reflection
The project continues from the previous one, applying what we learned about site analysis and response to a real site. This task also serves as a precedent for the next project, as all information gathered about our site would be used in our next design project, where the design would have to respond to site contexts established in this project. It also teaches us how to properly draw comprehensible diagrams
