Finishing and Presentation

>Project Introduction

As a paired assignment with the Architectural Design I module, this final project for Design Communication consisted of producing 6 orthographic drawings of our Design project to 1:10 scale with proper line weights as we saw fit.

>Orthographic Drawings

I drew plan, elevations, section and exploded axonometric drawings in 1:10 scale with human figures included also to scale. As per requirements, all drawings were done and inked by hand.

>Study Models

Study models were made of model card, model board, sticks and grey board as a base. The following are done not to scale and serve instead as explorations.

>The Final Model

I used a combination of model board, model card and sticks to create the model to a 1:10 scale, using grey board as the base.

>Reflection

This project was of particular use to me as it teaches an extremely practical side to the technique and execution of drawing. That is, it took my skill from the previous assignments and applied them to a real-life project.
